The Oklahoma Avenue Association is a non-profit organization of concerned citizens whose
mission is to maintain public buildings, landscaping, monuments, safety etc. in the controlled
historic district of Guthrie, and providing a venue for artists to show their work, give
demonstrations and talks to the public enhancing art appreciation.
The Oklahoma Avenue Association in conjunction with the Oklahoma Arts Council sponsor the
Guthrie Art & Wine Festival every year in October. The Festival starts on the last day of the
International Blue Grass Festival.
Through these efforts, the organization believes it can improve the quality of life in the historic
district of Guthrie by providing assistance to the community of Guthrie and the arts and
helping maintain Guthrie as the largest contiguously restored Victorian city in the United
States for future generations.
